Sheffield's Multi-Agency Response to the Assessment and Intervention of Children and Young People with Harmful Sexual Behaviour	In October 2025 a link to the Sheffield HSB Pathway Map was added to Related Guidance.
Children and Young People who Misuse Substances	This chapter was reviewed and updated in October 2025 in line with local procedure.
Children with Disabilities/Complex Needs	This chapter was updated in October 2025.
Children of Parents with Learning Difficulties	In October 2025 this chapter has been refreshed on the basis of good practice guidance from recent legal judgements. Also amendments made as the Working Together With Parents Network that supports professionals working with parents with learning disabilities and learning difficulties and their children is now run by Research in Practice, part of the NCB family,
Allegations Against Persons who Work with Children (including Staff, Carers and Volunteers)	This chapter was reviewed and updated in October 2025 in line with local procedure.
Children Missing Education and Children in Education other than in Registered Schools	This chapter was updated in October 2025 to bring it into line with Children Missing Education (August 2024). The changes are technical updates only to bring the guidance in line with the Working together to improve attendance statutory guidance and the School Attendance (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 2024. It also highlights pending legislation: The Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Bill and brings to the attention of readers Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC) Thematic Reviews of Children Not in School in Local Areas which will be undertaken in 2025.
Criminal Exploitation County Lines and Modern Day Slavery	In October 2025 a new section was added to the chapter on Child Financial Exploitation.
Safeguarding Children Living in Families with Drug and / or Alcohol Misuse Protocol	This chapter was reviewed and updated in October 2025 in line with local procedure.
Pregnant Women, Partners and Babies where there is Substance Misuse (MAPLAG)	This chapter was reviewed and updated in October 2025 in line with local procedure.

Allegations Against Persons who Work with Children (including Staff, Carers and Volunteers)	This chapter was updated in April 2025 to include a link to the Disclosure and Barring Service Guidance Leaflets (GOV.UK).
Recognition of Significant Harm and Types of Abuse and Neglect	In April 2025, amendments were made to the definition of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in line with further revisions to Working Together to Safeguard Children.
Safe Recruitment, Selection and Supervision of Staff	In April 2025, a link was added to Disclosure and Barring Service Guidance Leaflets (GOV.UK).
Child Sexual Exploitation	In April 2025, links to further information were updated.
Safeguarding Children and Young People who may have been Sexually Abused by a Family Member	In March 2025, links to further information were updated.
Criminal Exploitation County Lines and Modern Day Slavery	This chapter was refreshed in April 2025.
Domestic Abuse	This chapter was updated in April 2025 to include information on Stalking Protection Orders.
Radicalisation, Terrorist and Extremist Ideology	This chapter was refreshed in April 2025 and name changed from 'Children Vulnerable to or from Extremism'.
Online Safety	In April 2025, information was added in relation to sexually coerced extortion and AI imagery.
